ah dear oni con...

It has gone down in my con experience as the worst con i've attended two years in a row...CONGRATS ONI CON

I'll list all the things that were wrong with it so we can end on a happy note with the good stuff that actually happened O_O


Bad shitznits:

Organization: There was none. xD The pre reg line was huge on friday...the pre reg lines on thursdays at other cons go faster than this one did on a friday xD No actual printed schedule for you to take with you on friday either...you had to go to the registration table to look up what was going on on friday and for each day you had to go and get a schedule from them. Artist Alley was spread out throughout the hotel...you never knew where it ended.

I also told the staff on saturday night that I had lost my badge and they kindly told me that there is nothing I could do about it. I was so mad xD thankfully my friend Preston came to the rescue with a new badge.

Location: Probably the most swamped location ever...i liked it way more at the Convention Center last year. It was so over crowded...that I think it discouraged a lot of people from asking for pictures (I know it happened to me) because you didn't want hold people up...

Cosplayers: You really couldn't strike conversation with lots of them. I would start a conversation with them and they would dismiss me...like I was nothing. I don't like feeling like that >8|

Also someone decided to move the Hetalia shoot to 1030 on that eventhough it wasn't suppose to start until 11...so I was late *sigh*

I really hope that some of the cosplayers i've encountered at oni con is what the rest of texas cosplayers are like...so rude...V_V

BUT ANYWAYS some good things happened:

-met an awesome Gokudera and Yamamoto on Friday, who also cosplayed japan and cowboy america on saturday. God I fangirled so hard over their reborn cosplays xD

-Holy Roman Empire was the cutest thing and together with Chibitalia, italia, and holy roman empire we made some beautiful paintings 8D

-My America was finally completed 8D(I loved being america...I have to do it more often xD)

-OMG I FOUND 4 BEAUTIFUL CHROMES....4!!!! DFJSDKLFJDSLFKJDSFLKJDSFLKDSJFLDSKJFSLKF JDSLKFJDSLFJDSKJFDSLFJDSLFKJDSFLKJDSFLKD JSDSLFJDSFLKJDSFLJDSFLKDSJFLDSFJSDLKFJ T_T THIS MADE MY DAY ON SATURDAY XD

-and and and the thing that soooo saved my con experience...meeting who was an adorable roxas and chilled with me for all three days. We fangirled about Pandora Hearts together and and and guys she bought me this beautiful book.
